Arkeia to Leverage Kadena Technology for SMB and Enterprise Backup

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Nov. 3, 2009 – Kadena Systems Inc., a technology and licensing company specializing in data storage solutions, today announced its acquisition by Arkeia Software, Inc. Arkeia Software, a leading provider of backup software to small and medium businesses around the world, will integrate Kadena’s deduplication technology in the Arkeia Network Backup Suite.

Existing Kadena customers will continue to receive technical support, including third-level support, and Kadena’s PocketCache and DeltaBack products will remain available for licensing.
